NEW START FOR A NEW SEASON 2011:

Transurban has refreshed its look which coincides with a new appointment. 

Marijke Ransom joined Transurban in May 2011 replacing Michelle Baker who has recently become a mother to Sophie.  Marijke has a Masters in Planning Practice degree from the University of Auckland graduating in 1997.  She is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute and has 6 years UK planning experience and 5 years expereince in NZ.  She has worked in local government, a public/private partnership and private practice.  

Transurban's new look has been developing since Nick Rae took over as Director in 2009.  Whilst the core values and philosophy centered around a passion for creating great urban spaces remain the same, the fresh new look reflects the renewed energy and new faces. Nick, a qualified Urban Designer and Landscape Architect with 14 years experience overseas and in NZ  continues to manage Urban Design and provides urban design advice and assessments.  He can assist you with your design concept and overall strategy.  Marijke is leading the Planning service including resource consent advice, preparing applications, submissions and plan changes.
