Director

Nick is a qualified and registered urban designer and landscape architect with the desire to create great places for people whilst embracing our natural environment. Nick has worked in New Zealand since 2008, following gaining experience working and studying in London, Europe, Saudi Arabia and Sydney. His personal travel has taken him to remote villages in Africa, to the high density cities of Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City, and the landscapes of Asia and Australia.

He is a founding member of the Urban Design Institute Aotearoa.

In New Zealand, Nick assists private and public organisations on landuse policy for growth areas in Auckland, Hamilton, New Plymouth, Hawkes Bay, Wellington and Queenstown.  These range from industrial activity near Auckland Airport, residential areas of Hingaia and rural villages in the Franklin District, town centres in Rototuna and Kumeu, a mixed use zone in Takanini, residential intensification policy testing and advice to numerous plan changes.

Nick has recently contributed to the design of proposed developments including retirement villages, terrace housing, apartment buildings, green field subdivision, industrial master planning.

His skillset is varied and enjoys working collaboratively with people, synthesizing the various development disciplines into comprehensive design solutions.

Nick’s interests are varied also from sports car racing, fishing and boating, skiing and travel, to raising two girls.

Urban & Landscape Designer

Anna is a German trained urban designer with a landscape focus. Her experience includes working with architecture and landscape architecture firms in the United States, Germany and New Zealand.

Skilled at interpreting spatial relationships and aligning detailed design with overarching project objectives, she brings a genuine passion for landscape architecture, from thoughtfully creating welcoming and functional spaces that enhance neighbourhood vibrancy and everyday usability, to developing landscape reserves and comprehensive revegetation programs.

Anna has significant experience in green field land development, primarily for residential use, and closely works with civil engineers to deliver master planned communities.

Outside of work Anna competes on the international stage in Waka ama racing, and loves travel and being in nature.

Architect

Fabio brings a Brazilian flair to Transurban.  His architectural experience has focused on urban design and place-making.  He has a wealth of knowledge and provides great solutions to design challenges. Fabio is a Registered Architect (NZRAB) and loves turning a client brief into beautiful buildings.

Not only satisfied with buildings, he is also passionate about landscape and play spaces. Fabio was instrumental in developing playground standards in Brazil.
