The Housing Accords and Special Housing Areas Act 2013 provide the opportunity where we led the planning and design of a major extension to Clarks Beach, on the southern shores of Manukau Harbour.

Our work included preparation of a structure plan and private plan change to the Auckland Unitary Plan, guided by a refined precinct framework to ensure cohesive, long-term outcomes.

A defining feature of the development is the “green spine” — a multifunctional corridor that integrates stormwater management with high-quality open space, strengthening connections to existing community facilities.

We delivered the masterplan, detailed subdivision design, landscape solutions, and oversaw staged implementation through to completion — creating a well-connected, resilient coastal community.
